Afterschool Tutoring Session

Some students are understanding the story better when they hear it read outloud. I am going to stay after school on the following days and read the stroies assigned for class. If you are unable to attend by want to get ahead in your reading, this is the order that we will be reading the stories.  

All reading days will start promptly at 3 p.m. (Location TBA) and should be over by 4p.m. Students need to have a ride avalible to pick them up by 4p.m..  Any students still at school after 4:20 will be asked to go to the Media Center for the Extended Day Program. This Extended Day program charges 10 dollars per day that the students is in attendance, so please make sure you have a ride here on time!

11/7 - Cask of the Amontillado By Edgar Allan Poe
11/13 - Masque of the Red Death By Edgar Allan Poe

11/30 - The Story of an Hour By Kate Chopin

12/5 - The Lottery By Shirley Jackson

12/12 - Harrison Bergeron By Kurt Vonnegut

12/14 - Sound of Thunder By Ray Bradbury

If you can not attend or do not want to attend these sessions, you will not be penelized.

Welcome!

Welcome Students!

As we head into the 2nd Nine Weeks, everyone starts off with a clean slate! Do NOT worry about last nine weeks. Keep your head up and stay motivated! I have created this website for class use.  It will be updated often with links to websites,prezis, power points, and other useful information regarding class.  Homework and the readings will be listed along with what happened in class, so if you missed class, this will be the place to catch up!
